Our vision is that every child in our community should have access to an extraordinary public education. All students deserve rigorous academics and a broad array of beyond classroom educational experiences that inspire curiosity and a love of learning.

Lafourche Education Foundation champions public education, raising money to fund programs and positions of distinction. In partnership with school administrators and the community, we identify programs that we believe are vital for our students, but are not funded by the State of Louisiana. We support academics, educators, students, and Aspen Public Schools (PK - 12).

Each of us in Lafourche Parish recognizes the need to strengthen our school system. Since 1997, LEF has raised money to make sure that funding gaps from the state are no longer a barrier to providing our children with the educational experiences and opportunities they deserve.
