New Teacher Grant Program

Welcoming and Equipping Educators for Success.
Starting a new teaching career is exciting—but it comes with a lot of responsibilities, including setting up a classroom from scratch. From basic supplies to student materials, many first-year teachers face this challenge with limited resources and big expectations.
The LEF New Teacher Grant Program is here to help.
We offer $250 grants to support first-year teachers in Lafourche Parish as they build a strong foundation for learning in their classrooms.
Because when we invest in educators from day one, we invest in the students they serve—and the future they shape.
